Production Methods
Industrial production method
1) ferrous bromide method
In the reactor filled with water, add iron filings, partial join bromide under stirring, under 40 ℃ to produce ferrous bromide reaction, adding calcium hydroxide adjust Ph value, heated to boiling, and then after cooling, hydrogen separation to remove ferrous oxide, evaporation and cooling the filtrate to 30 ℃ let stand, via decoloring, filtering, evaporation to about 210 ℃, then through cooling, produce calcium bromide.
Fe + Br2 – FeBr2FeBr2 + ca (OH) 2 – CaBr2 + Fe (OH) 2 left
2) Direct method
Calcium bromide product was obtained after ammonia gas was passed into lime milk, bromine was added, reaction was carried out under 70℃, filtration was carried out, the filtrate was kept in alkaline condition and expelled ammonia, standing, decolorization, and the filtrate was concentrated.
